January Cards

I am ready to get back into making greeting cards. Many of you have asked for cards for men so this will be a start to the year for you. We will make these 5 cards on Saturday January 4th at 1:00pm, Monday January 6th or Tuesday January 7th at 6:00pm. Contact me if you are interested and I'll send you a list of the things to bring.

Paper pack Tommy is used here plus the dry embossing just a simple card.

Washie tape and the Washie tape stamp set is used on the left card. Then the sharpies will color our sparkles. The Peace & Comfort card will be a perfect card for anyone.

Using the Hungington paper pack for the left card.  Paper piecing is something I love to do on the last card.

December pages

These are the Fast 'N Fun Pages we will be creating using Sarita paper pack December 17th. I love these colors and how they will go with a boy or a girl.

 Your photos will slide under the strip of B&T. Just a simple layout!

 

Just some simple stamping on this page. Love those colors. I used the Sarita embellishments and a pack of Auqa Dots.

Christmas Cards

It's that time of year when we need to start thinking about what kind of Christmas cards you will be making. On Monday, October 21st at 6:00pm I will be holding my Christmas card workshop. Cost is $20.00 and there are about 14 different Christmas/Winter cards you can pick from. With this you will take the bin to a table and make as many as you want. All supplies are in the bin and everything is precut. There will be 20 cards in each bin. You will have 2 hours to make as many cards as you wish. Please let me know if you wish to attend this workshop so I have a space reserved for you.

October Workshop

I just love this paper pack - Huntington. We will be making these four layouts for the Fast 'N Fun Pages Workshop.

Cost of the workshop is $20.00 and you can also get the add ons: brown sparkles and the bronze tape (love this as well) for an extra fee. If you would be interested in joining me let me know.

September card workshop

These are my September cards we will be creating. Using a few different things.

 The top left bird is heat embossed and colored in with chalk. The Christmas card is stamped in Smokey Plum and has silver glitz in the center of each snowflake to tie in the silver metallic ribbon under the white ribbon.

The birthday card on the right is using Babycakes paper pack. I sure do like those colors. The Hooray card is using Pro Player paper pack and has washi tape on it.  Hope you enjoy the different kinds of cards this month.

September Workshop

This is a cute and easy Christmas gift for the hard to buy for person. We will decorate a set of blocks. I'll have them prepainted using our Create-a-paint and reinker. The cost of this workshop is $6.00 but you do need to sign up fast so I can get the blocks ready. Dates are Thursday Sept. 19th at 6:00pm, Saturday, the 21st at 1:00pm or Monday the 23rd at 6:00pm. You bring your own adhesive and glue dots. This top photo is just to show you different ways you can stack this set of blocks.

August Cards

I'm back in the swing and ready to go, August cards start next week. If you are interested in joining me Monday or Tuesday (August 5th or 6th) at 6:00pm or Saturday August 10th at 1:00pm let me know. You can get the stamp of the month free with a $50.00 purchase. Everyone loves chocolate, right?

 Each month from now until December we will be making one Christmas Card during my monthly card workshop. I'm hoping this will give you afew extra ideas on jump starting those Holiday cards.

June 18th we'll be putting together our Chantilly Paper Pack. There are 4 layouyts. You're pages won't include the pink gems, or the zipper these are all extra.

 Lay out 4 - using our 1 1/4 in circle punch you can make a pretty nice boarder. We will use Chantilly paper pack, the embellisments that cordinate, and extra cardstock.

June Cards

This month's cards are all for the men. There will be 6 cards to honor my 7th year with Close To My Heart (June 1st). So thank you to my customers!

We'll be putting them together on Sat. June 1st and Monday June 3rd if interested let me know.

A special stamp set

The tornado in Oklahoma has had a devastating effect and Close To My Heart wants to help. To aid relief efforts, Close To My Heart is making a new Autumn/Winter 2013 stamp set, A True Thank You ($2.95 retail), available immediately and will donate 100% of the profits from sales of the set from May 23 through June 30 to the American Red Cross. Braxton's first birthday

I had the honors of creating Braxton's first birthday part invites. My daughter Brenda took the photos (brendakayphotogher.com) if you want to check out her web site. Braxton is my youngest grandchild. He might be a ham but he's so darn cute.

I used our cupcake stamp from the Artist cricut cartridge it comes with 3 size D stamps. The frosting has glitz gell on the top. I just can't believe he's a year already. Happy Birthday Buddy!

May's Fast 'N Fun Pages

On Tuesday, May 21st we will be putting together our Fast 'N Fun pages. Bring lots of adhesive because I've never had so many pieces on four layouts. Yes there are 96 pieces to tape down.

I can't wait to get my photos on these pages. Karla's wedding is just the perfect photos.

 Love those banners. Very simple but a nice layout for any occasion.

These are all made out of our For Always Paper Pack. There isn't much paper left when we are done putting these all together.

Bunches of Cards

Just a friendly reminder that if you need any cards this week it for you. On Saturday April 27th from 1-3 or Monday April 29 from 6-8 you can come and make as many cards as you want for $10.00. They must be completed cards. I will have about 13 cards cut up (20 of each card) all you need to do is pick a card and sit down and make it. If you are interested please let me know.

March Fast 'N Fun Pages

If you like to create scrapbook pages, this is your workshop. Tuesday March 26th at 6:00pm we will create these four pages using our Later Sk8r Paper Pack.

 

 Everything is precut so I need to know if you would like to join me. I have afew extra kits if you would like to join us please email me at kmauk@excel.net and I'll send you the information.

 This last set of pages was I used the zip-strip from our paper pack, I just love how they fit right in with anything layouts.

Canvas Workshop

Monogram Card/gift set

 

 I just love this gift set. You will make 6 cards, the holder, and roll a pen with paper all for $10.00. You also will need to pick a monogram letter and that stamp will be yours to take with you. Hope nice of a gift is this? I've used our new For Always paper pack with the black tulling.

February Cards
